Public Tour Information

Unless otherwise noted, all public tours are priced per passenger. All tours are 2-hours from dock to dock, and can possibly run a few minutes late on the return when necessary to maximize guest experience. The Captain reserves the right to delay departure for late-running guests, or to leave them behind depending on degree of tardiness. Weather is always a factor. Trips are subject to be cancelled, or postponed, at any time at the Captain’s discretion. All fees will be fully refunded in the event that guests are not able to, or choose to not reschedule. Parties will be asked to supply the best contact number for text message confirmations and possible changes.

Bottled water is always available and guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. Lifejackets are available to all guests, and will remain stowed unless guests request them.

2023 Public Tour Schedules

Starting in 2023, all public tours will be aboard Asticou; a 42-foot Wesmac (built right here in Maine). Tours depart from and return to the Town Dock in Northeast Harbor located on 40 Harbor Drive.

Full Moon Rise

Enjoy 2-hours of cruising among the islands of Frenchmen Bay while sipping moon-themed cocktails, mocktails and sampling an assortment of Maine-made, artisanal products. The full moon rising over Schoodic Peninsula steals the show!

Bloody Mary Boat Ride

The inaugural tour is on Father’s Day, but we hope to help celebrate all Dads and father figures on other Sundays throughout the season. This scenic, 2-hour cruise in and around Northeast Harbor and Somes Sound includes Bloody Mary cocktails and mocktails, mimosas, assorted Maine-made soft drinks and fun finger foods.

Sunset Tour

Unwind and take a break from the hustle and bustle of vacation. Enjoy this ultra scenic, 2-hour cruise among the stunningly beautiful islands that lay in the shadows of Acadia. Watch the sun slip into the bay and marvel at the brilliant colors. Sunsets are like snowflakes; no two are alike!

Night Sky Tours

Get "star" struck on this guided tour of the night sky with Downeast Maine’s rockstar astronomer CHARLIE SAWYER! If you’ve never seen stars from offshore, you’re in for a real treat!
